On August 6, 2021, Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of SIIS Academic Affairs Council met with Mr. James Heller, Consul General of the U.S. in Shanghai. The two sides exchanged views on the future of China-U.S. relations. Ms. Zhu Juhua, director of the Department of International Exchanges, Prof. Shao Yuqun, senior fellow of the Center for American Studies and Mr. Yang Li, research fellow of the Center for Marine and Polar Studies of SIIS participated in the meeting.
