On March 16, 2021, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to China, H.E. Wim Geerts, visited Shanghai Institutes for International Studies with Remco Van Wijngaarden, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Shanghai, and Anne-Roos Wasser, Vice Consul for Economic Affairs, Consulate-General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Shanghai. Ambassador Geerts exchanged views with SIIS President Chen Dongxiao on China-EU relations, climate change, as well as multilateral cooperation. Dr. Zhang Yinghong, Director of the Center for European Studies, Ms. Zhu Juhua, Director of the Department of International Exchanges, Dr. Zhang Pei, Deputy Director of the Department of Research Management, and Dr. Li Yanliang, Assistant Research Fellow of the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies participated in the meeting.
