On February 22, 2021, Professor Yang Jiemian, Chairman of the Academic Affairs Council of SIIS, met with Mr. Hüseyin Emre Engin, Consul General of Turkey in Shanghai. The two sides had an in-depth discussion on international issues of common interest and how to strengthen China-Turkey strategic partnership. Ms. Zhu Juhua, director of the department for international exchanges and Dr. Liu Xin from the Center for West Asian and African Studies of SIIS participated in the meeting.
