On July 16, 2020, Ambassador Peleg Lewi, Consul General of Israel in Guangzhou and his colleagues visited SIIS, and had an in-depth discussion with SIIS scholars on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the global economy and China-Israeli relations. SIIS president Prof. Chen Dongxiao hosted the discussion.
