On May 28, 2018, Ambassador Haim Koren, former Israel’s ambassador to Egypt and his colleagues visited SIIS. Dr. Ye Qing, assistant president of SIIS met with Amb. Koren and had a discussion on regional situation, the Syrian issue, Iran nuclear issue, Trump administration’s Middle East policy and China’s role in the Middle East etc. Ms. Liu Xin, research fellow from the Center for West Asian and African Studies also participated in the meeting.
