On May 21, 2018, SIIS President Chen Dongxiao met with Mr. Ravindra Sathe, Executive Director of the Rambhau Mhalgi Probodhini (RMP) and exchanged views on future cooperation between the two institutes. Dr. Liu Zongyi, research fellow of the Center for Asia-Pacific Studies, attended the meeting.

Mr. Ravindra Sathe also gave a lecture on 2019 Indian General Election in SIIS.
