On March 7, 2017, Mr. Okada Kenichi, Consul of Japanese Consulate-General in Shanghai visited SIIS. Vice President Yan Anlin and Prof. Yu Xintian, Chair of SIIS Consulting Committee met with Consul Kenichi respectively. The two sides had a discussion on cross-strait relations and Chinese mainland’s policy toward Taiwan etc. Prof. Shao Yuqun, director of the Institute for Taiwan, Hongkong and Macao Studies and Prof. Tong Liqun, Ms. Ji Yixin also attended the meeting.
