On March 4, 2017, President Chen Dongxiao met with Prof. Thomas Gold, Professor of Sociology at the University of California Berkeley. Prof. Gold gave a speech on the current US domestic politics and foreign policy for SIIS research fellows and graduate students. Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of the Council of SIIS Academic Affairs chaired the lecture.
