On March 4, 2017, Prof. Thomas Gold, Professor of Sociology at the University of California Berkeley visited SIIS and gave a speech on the current US domestic politics and foreign policy. Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of the Council of SIIS Academic Affairs chaired the lecture. SIIS research fellows and graduate students attended the lecture.
