On February 24, 2017, Dr. Andrew Weiss, Vice President of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and Dr. Alexander Gabuev, Chair of the Russia in the Asia-Pacific Program at the Carnegie Moscow Center visited SIIS and met with SIIS President Chen Dongxiao, Director Li Xin, Deputy Director Qiang Xiaoyun, Dr. Qian Zongqi and Dr. Zhao Long from the Center for Russian & Central Asian Studies. The two sides exchanged views on China-US-Russian trilateral relations.
