Through Feb.9 to Feb. 10, 2017, SIIS President Chen Dongxiao led a delegation to Beijing on a study trip. Vice President Yang Jian, Vice President Yan Anlin and Assistant President Ye Qing participated in the visit.

During their stay in Beijing, the delegation had discussions on current international situations and China’s diplomacy of 2017 with officials from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Central Foreign Affairs Office and the International Department of Central Committee of CPC. Mr. Zheng Zeguang, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Mr. Wang Yajun, Assistant Minister of the International Department, Central Committee of CPC met with the group.
