Seminar on China-Japan Relations in the Age of Low Birthrate and Population Aging Held at SIIS

On Feb. 7, 2017, a seminar on China-Japan Relations in the Age of Low Birthrate and Population Aging was held at SIIS. The seminar was co-hosted by SIIS, Shanghai Association for Japanese Studies, Shanghai Japan Studies and Communication Center, and the Council on East Asian Community (Japan). More than 30 scholars and governmental officials from China and Japan had a multi-dimensional discussion on the common challenges and promoting win-win cooperation between the two countries.
SIIS President Chen Dongxiao gave an opening remark, and Prof. Wu Ji’nan, Chairman of the Shanghai Association for Japanese Studies gave a concluding remark.
