On May 12 and 13, Berlin T20 Conference, co-hosted by German Development Institute (DIE), the Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES), Shanghai Institute for International Studies (SIIS), Institute of World Economics and Politics - Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (IWEP-CASS), and Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies (RDCY), was held at FES headquarter. About 150 renowned think tank scholars, policymakers, representatives from international organizations and civil groups, as well as representatives from C20, W20, B20 and L20 had a heated and fruitful discussion on the theme of “the 2030 Agenda and Pathways to Sustainable Development, International Cooperation and the G20 Presidencies of China and Germany”. The meeting yielded many policy recommendations, and Berlin T20 Conference Communique was issued at the conclusion of the meeting.
