February 28, Led by Director Peter Knoope, the delegation of International Center for Counter-Terrorism - The Hague (ICCT) visits SIIS and meets with SIIS Vice President Chen Dongxiao, Prof. Zhao Gancheng, Executive Director of the Institute for International Strategic Studies, Dr. Ye Qing, Director of the Center for West Asian & African Studies, Dr. Zhang Chun, Deputy Director of the Center for West Asian & African Studies and Mr. Wang Weihua, Assistant Director of the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies. The two sides have a deep discussion on international counter-terrorism cooperation, regional impacts of US withdrawal from Afghanistan, Sub-Sahara regional security and some other issues.
