July 22, the 2nd U.S. media delegation of 2011 sponsored by China-United States Exchange Foundation and Brown Lloyd James visited SIIS. SIIS President Yang Jiemian met with the American delegation. The delegation visited SIIS to have discussions with President Yang Jiemian, Prof. Zhao Gancheng, Executive Director of Institute for International Strategic Studies, and Prof. Wu Chunsi, Executive Director of Center for American Studies and among others on the issues of China-U.S. relations and the strategy of China and U.S. towards South Asia.
