February 25, the Delegation of Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of Pakistan led by General Khalid Shameem Wynne paid a visit to SIIS. SIIS President Yang Jiemian and Vice President Chen Dongxiao met with the Pakistani delegation, and had an in-depth discussion on situation of Afghanistan and South Asian subcontinent and international issues of common interest. The Pakistani delegation includes General Khalid Shameem Wynne, General Khalid Zia and so forth. SIIS also has members in participation with the seminar, Professor Zhao Gancheng and Dr. Shao Yuqun of Center for South Asian Studies and Dr. Ye Qing of Institute for Global Governance etc..
